Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyse the campaign/project requirement, brand guidelines, functional specifications and build appropriate products/solutions
Ensure technical feasibility of visual designs
Optimize application for maximum speed, scalability and performance
A quick learner with the ability to develop and deliver required brand knowledge
Work cohesively with Project Managers, Technical Lead, production and QA teams to ensure deliverables are to time and quality
Proactive in nature, identifying the risks, issues and improvement opportunities, and communicate through appropriate channels
Directly responsible for the technical and creative quality of company's Digital products
Responsible for contributing to central pool of technical knowledge and sharing of best practices with other staff
Staying abreast of digital methodologies and technologies in the industry, and ensure continuous learning and improvement of self
Oversee the development and implementation of technical proposals and solutions to our digital clients, working closely with the global digital team to ensure alignment to our current digital strategy, capabilities, and services.
Implement new functions and development techniques in our production process that help meet client goals, (creative) objectives and improve internal efficiencies.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role in the Marketing / Advertisement industry (Non-negotiable)
Willingness to work in Australia time zone.
Strong experience with HTML and CSS3.
Ability to hand code in vanilla JavaScript
Strong knowledge of animation techniques via JS or CSS.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite especially Photoshop
Knowledge of JSON and XML
Examples of previous work demonstrating ability to create Interactive HTML5 assets
Knowledge of optimization principles and techniques (image optimization, code minification, font subsetting etc)
Experience of the main Ad Serving platforms such as DoubleClick, Flashtalking, Sizmek, AdForm and Celtra.
Experience creating animations using 3rd party JS animation libraries such as Greensocks (GSAP) and createJS.
Demonstrable experience of De-bugging
Knowledge of coding standards and best practice
Understanding of W3C Standards and cross-browser/device issues and code solutions.
Creation and use of Spritesheets.
Experience of responsive development.
Previous experience building dynamic banner campaigns across a variety of Ad Servers.
Knowledge of DCO targeting optimisation and trafficking approaches for display advertising (placement/audience id's, GEO etc).
Experience with using Google Sheets and MS Excel as content feeds
Experience using multiple data sources for dynamic campaigns. For example, product endpoints in combination with spreadsheet feeds.
Nice To Have
Experience of GIT version control
Experience with timeline-based IDE's such as Adobe Animate and Google Web Designer
Knowledge of dynamic VAST and VPAID video ads
Knowledge of IAB digital advertising standards and guidelines
Sketch
