About the Role
The main purpose of the Developer position is to produce best-in-class code and contribute to technical solution design scoping. This role will work within a high performing team of developers, designers and account managers and provide solutions relating to front end design and development.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Creative and Design Excellence
Produce best-in-class code and implement designs into functioning solutions-within the allocated time.
Provide recommendations and advice to the Account Management Team on the best development approach to achieve effective and valuable solutions for the client.
Efficiently work to a schedule to meet deliverables on task and project work.
Assist account managers to set realistic timeframes for development work.
Follow internal code practices and development processes.
Anticipate potential problems and provide solutions relating to front end design and development.
Identify and communicate any possible issues with the Senior Development Team and/or Account Manager.
Diagnose and handle bugs as they arise to ensure quick resolution.
Create notes and post in Git and Mavenlink so the rest of the team can easily understand what you have done.
Follow Quality Assurance processes for browser and device testing your work.
Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)
Exercise a duty of care to ensure actions do not negatively impact the health and/or safety of others or self in the workplace.
Ensure that anything provided for health and safety is not willfully or recklessly interfered with or misused.
Ensure compliance with any of the company's WHS policies, procedures and any reasonable instruction given by the company.
About You
Ideally, we are looking for Front-end developers with experience in Shopify and e-commerce, but here in Filta, we always give a chance to those up for the test! For soft skills, we are looking for professionals who are:

Position Prerequisites
2+ years of front-end web development experience.
eCommerce experience, Shopify experience preferred.
Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular 2 or Vue.
Previous agency experience.
Advanced skills in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and CSS pre-processors.
Understanding of code management frameworks such as Git.
Producing high-quality work, from small tasks to large scale projects.
An enthusiastic attitude that embraces ownership and collaboration.
