We want to empower Filipinos to design anything. We use our social media channels to support our users in all sorts of ways by creating and sharing content that will educate, inspire, and entertain our audience on a daily basis. The Canva team wants to work with talented designers to create a new benchmark for fresh, high-quality design content. We want to make Canva truly local for Filipinos with social media posts that inform and empower our audience - and to do that, we need the help of talented designers that can create amazing content.
About the project
Canva is on a mission to democratise design through the localisation of our products -- and one of the ways we're doing that is by making sure our social media and other channels reflect our growing, diverse library of high-quality, locally bespoke content.
We need a range of fresh, varied, and beautiful designs that make Canva truly local for Filipinos - so we're after self-motivated designers who can bring our local creative campaigns to reality. We're interested in engaging designers on a 1-2 month project, with the opportunity of extending our relationship to ongoing, regular design work. You'll be creating a multitude of Canva assets including social media (posts video and static), email banners, presentations, and editorial content for campaigns specifically for the Philippines.
What you'll do...
Create a range of fresh, varied and beautiful designs for Canva PH's social media channels
Create unique concepts for beautiful templates on various themes and topics that are specific to the Philippines
Create design assets such as illustrations and design elements for local campaigns
Suggest fresh design styles and creative directions that suit our users' needs
