DINING PERSONNEL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Principal Accountabilities:

Tasks:
Operational Excellence
· Responsible for coordinating dining stations and communicating with front and back-of-the-house personnel to provide outstanding dining experience.
· Performs tasks and procedures as required in the assigned station - Bar, Server, Host/Receptionist, Dispatcher or Cashier.
· Greets customers with a smile and maintains a friendly and pleasant disposition when dealing with guests and other restaurant personnel.
· Monitors all tables monitored for customer satisfaction, quality and additional services needed.
· Ensures consistent execution of Service Sequence
· Menu familiarization and knowledge in handling trays
· Knowledgeable in food plating, utensils / silverwares
· Availability in Dining wares and its uses
· Familiar with the cycle of service
· Knowledgeable in Order taking / Suggestive selling and POS punching
· Familiar with Dining forms like order slip, cancellation form etc.
· Focus on Total Customer Satisfaction
· Has good communication skills

· Assist in BECM - (Building; Equipment; Cleanliness; Maintenance)
· Familiar in preventive maintenance of equipment

· Familiarization and proper handling of Equipment
· Responsible in Service Quality Delivery
· Knowledgeable in Restaurant Floor Plan and Dining Set up
· Anticipate guests needs
· Guest table visit and Guest interaction
· Handle minor complaints
· Standard Opening and Closing Procedures
· Assist in Cost control
· ENERCON Implementation
· Familiar on Fire Up / Fire Down of Equipment
· Familiar in charges of small wares and silverwares breakages and loses
· Familiar in all cleaning materials usage on a daily basis
· Performs order-taking function properly.
· Processes orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and served on a timely basis.
· Ensures food orders are served according to restaurant standards on quality and presentation.
· Processes bills and accepts payment.
· Completes daily side duties pertaining to cleanliness, setting up work area, etc. as assigned.
Sales Building
· Assist in Execution of Marketing Strategies through consistent suggestive selling
· Promo and mechanics familiarization and event awareness
· Guest traffic flow familiarity
· Familiar with restaurant services and functions, Take outs and deliveries
· Communicate current promotions to customers.
Administrative Tasks
· Ensures that credit card transactions and tip adjustments are entered correctly.
· Ensures that sales rang up tally at the end of the shift - physical cash and credit card transactions.
· Does the settlement report on the Hypercom every end of the night shift.
· Manages daily cash and change transactions generated by store operation
a. Knowledgeable in using POS.
b. Knowledgeable in preparation and entries in the Daily Sales Report
c. Ability to detect counterfeit money
d. Knowledgeable on Balancing Card sales with DSR Reporting
e. Knowledgeable in verifying credit card signature and transactions
· Ensures the safekeeping and maintenance of all cashier Electronic Equipment
a. Knowledgeable in troubleshooting of Electronic Equipment esp. POS
b. Knowledgeable of important contact numbers for repair and maintenance of Cashier Equipment
· Responsible for Cashier Cash Fund Management -­‐ Change Fund and Tip
a. Knowledgeable of breakdown for change preparation
b. Knowledgeable of the breakdown of outside purchases
· Ensure timely preparation of Reports
a. Daily Sales Report Knowledge
b. Computer Literate (Documentation, correspondence, excel etc.)
c. Knowledgeable on type of Banks, Reservation forms
d. Knowledgeable on type of forms and their uses like OS, Incident Report, and Bill out Form, etc.
· Assists in Cost Control
a. Monitor Office Supplies usage and order
b. Monitor all materials to be purchase
· Handles Confidential Data either information regarding the Company and its Trade Secret
· Manages Company Assets that contribute to the company's Financial Performance
Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
DINING PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent.
· At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system (e.g. Revel POS or Toast POS)
· Basic math skills
· Attentiveness and patience for customers
· Excellent presentation skills
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
· Active listening and effective communication skills
· Team spirit
· Flexibility to work in shifts
