Job Description
About the Job
Reporting to the Store Manager, this Senior Management role leads and manages the IKEA Food function in the store, to provide irresistible food offers in a welcoming atmosphere that gives our customers a good reason to return again and again over time.
Your assignment
You will lead and manage the IKEA Food function in the store to fulfill the following:
Attract regular customers to the IKEA store;
Offer a food range that appeals to the "many people in the local market;
Strengthen the low price profile of the IKEA Store;
Strengthen the quality perception of the IKEA Store;
Operate in accordance with local legislation, and with IKEA Quality and Food Safety requirements;
Implement the IKEA HACCP plan and ensure that HACCP routines are known and consistently implemented;
Implement the food range matrix (global and local) to secure a strong IKEA Food range identity that distinguishes the IKEA store from our competitors in the local market;
Act in accordance with the IKEA Sustainability Direction, and take actions that contribute to sustainability, such as waste management and investments;
Create awareness of IKEA Food as the most important in-store marketing tool for maximizing the IKEA store's sales potential.
Qualifications
Your profile
You have a strong passion for food as well as genuine interest in customers;
You should have at least 10 years leadership / managerial experience in a successful commercial, retail management or the role of multi-unit food service manager with proven leadership abilities and strong track-record of managing managers, including management competence;
You possess strategic, analytical and tactical abilities, with proven record of setting and implementing action plans, and providing clear directions, and following up of goals;
You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is someone who has proven leadership capabilities in a changing business environment, able to lead by example and bring out the best in co-workers, motivating and developing your team, and able to influence in a matrix organization.
Additional Information
This role requires flexibility in work hours, depending on store operational requirements.
