FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVER
 
Salary: Depends on Experience
 
Responsibilities:
Welcomes guests upon their arrival and escort to tables
Presents menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
Prepares tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
Offers menu recommendations upon request
Upsells additional products when appropriate
Takes accurate food and drinks orders, using order slips or by memorization
Checks customers' IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
Communicates order details to the Kitchen Staff
Serves food and drink orders
Checks dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
Arranges table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
Delivers checks and collect bill payments
Carries dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
Follows all relevant health department regulations
Requirements:
Relevant working experience in a hotel or restaurant of at least 1 year
Experience in handling banquets
Degree in hospitality is a plus (but not required)
Can speak Filipino, Cebuano and English
Knowledge in MS Office Applications
Willing to work at Punta Engaño, Lapu-Lapu City
