This is an exciting opportunity for a Commodities and Global Markets Operations Analyst to join our team.
As our Finance Market Operations Analyst, you'll be responsible for handling processes relating to trade activity, processing of incoming confirmations received from clients, drafting of invoices, agreeing settlements with clients, data management and brokers and processing payment requests.
In this role, on a day-to-day basis, you'll work to:
Provide oversight and have an opportunity to the lead Manila EMEA processing team
Verify and authenticate payment and settlement instructions received from clients and counterparties (Securities Settlement, Corporate Actions and Billings Instructions)
Undertake the Trade Lifecycle processing and Risks Management processes
Handle the confirmation processes to ensure economic & non-economic terms are accurately represented on all outgoing confirmations
Settlements of trades, brokerage, and custody fees
Liaise with external clients and the Commodities and Global Markets Division's Marketers & Traders on technical queries
Work with both the local and global Commodities and Global Markets Operations team to drive identification and implementation of improvements in operational processes, from a control or efficiency perspective
Business project management
Raise, connect, and close outstanding risk gaps with Risk Team
We want to hear from you if you have:
A degree in finance or relevant area
Experience in banking and/or finance, technology, and markets operations
Strong leadership skills
A high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
The ability to work well under pressure in a high-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and the aptitude to learn system flows
An understanding of the importance of controls and procedures within an operational environment
Flexibility around work shifts and working during public holidays as required
Good customer service skills with experience in liaising with internal and external clients.
