Job Description
1. Instructs and schedules workers in his particular shift.
2. Inspects auger packing machines and all other equipment used in packing to ensure that they are in good working condition; reports to Shift Mechanic or Electrician any malfunction of the machines.
3. Ensures correct dates will be printed on the bagged products based on expiry dates.
4. Conducts visual inspection of the bagged products to ensure that these are packed correctly and in accordance to labeling specifications.
5. Conducts random checks on the weight of bagged flour to ensure correct weight of bags/sacks.
6. Checks weighing scale with a 25 kg standard weight at least twice during shift.
7. Accomplishes production record at the end of every hour on the basis of ticket numbers and submits to Shift Miller at the end of the shift
8. Checks that all machinery, floors, windows, etc in the packing section are clean during the shift.
9. Checks that all materials issued such as bags, thread, tickets are used for the purpose they are intended.
10. Reconciles actual production report against actual transfer to warehouse; prepares and submits reconciliation reports to shift miller.
11. Random inspection of flour product for any foul smell, color and presence of pest
12. Perform all other related duties that may be assigned
