Job Description:
As a Fixed Asset Officer, you will be accountable for the recording of the cost of the newly acquired fixed assets, both tangible and non-tangible. He/she is also responsible for the tagging and the tracking of existing assets, recording of depreciation and the accounting of disposed item or item for disposal.

What You Will Do:
Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recording of fixed assets.
Records fixed asset's acquisition and status; tracks each one
Assign tag numbers to fixed assets and identify accountabilities.
Conduct periodic physical counts of fixed assets
Recommends to management any updates to policies related to fixed assets.
Investigate the potential obsolescence of fixed assets
Recommend to management whether fixed assets should be disposed of
Conducts analysis related to fixed assets
What You Will Need for This Role:
Must be knowledgeable in SAP
At least 1-year basic Accounting experience particularly in Food, Retail, or FMCG Industry.
With knowledge and experience on fixed assets and General Ledger
Possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Office application (Excel)

Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business Administration.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding analytical and evaluation skills with attention to detail.
Can work well under pressure and with minimum supervision
