FIXED ASSET ACCOUNTING ANALYST
 
Role
 
Responsible for the company-wide maintenance of all fixed asset master data which includes the monitoring of lapsing schedules, monthly depreciation run, fixed asset transfers, reclassification of fixed asset in accordance with the approved accounting policies and department orders and implements any risk related measures that the company is taking
 
Job Responsibilities:
Maintains the Fixed Asset Master Data Card in the ERP system.
Incorporates fixed asset tagging information in the Fixed Asset Master Data Card in the ERP System.
Monthly records depreciation in the ERP system.
Maintains the lapsing schedules in the ERP system.
Ensures that all fixed assets of the company are covered with the appropriate insurance for mitigating risks of loss.
Maintains the insurance coverage policy are intact, properly labelled and renewal monitoring.
Facilitates the submission of supporting documents, required reports and any related documents of insurance claims.
Prepares summary of fixed assets to be written off or for disposal.
Endorses to Accounting Manager any fixed asset for disposal in accordance with the stablished accounting policies and department orders.
Ensures monthly reconciliation of fixed asset and contra account subsidiary ledgers and proper asset type classifications are followed in accordance with the established accounting policies and department orders.
Perform other duties as directed by superiors from time to time.
Job Qualifications
College graduate in Business, Management Accounting, Accountancy or Accounting related.
Analytical with strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office or any accounting software.
Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
With 1-year related experience.
