We are looking for a Fit Out and Joinery Estimator to join our growing team in the Philippines.
As a Fit Out and Joinery Estimator, you will be preparing BOQ and estimate material requirements, and choosing the most appropriate materials. You will also provide complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare BOQs and quotations.
Measure and calculate the cost of materials.
Prepare tender submissions and take offs Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.
Read and interpret plans Contract administration.
Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope.
Identify design and construct ability issues and analysis to determine construct ability.
Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project.
Act as a connection between subcontractors, design team (architects, engineers, consultants), and client.
Responsible for preparing and assembling bids and proposals for various contract types.
Determine required but non indicated scope through the analysis of site conditions and all contract documents (plans specifications, etc.).
Collaborate with operations staff and other estimators to ensure that General Conditions and Requirement items are appropriately captured in the estimate.
Perform assessment on subcontractor proposals to ascertain if scope is covered and also manage the risk of scope gaps.
Your job involves interiors of building, residential, offices, bank, shops, hotels and restaurants.
Responsible for managing primary inventory work, made drafting of space plans, site measurement, elevations etc.
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or equivalent years of work experience.
You should have at least 4-7 years' experience in estimation & costing with Joinery and fit-out company.
You will be required to have a strong understanding of construction methodologies.
Must have knowledge of production (joinery) and installation, and (joinery & fit-out ) procedures.
Strategic planning skills.
Analytical and extremely detail-oriented.
Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to adjust quickly, should there be changes in work priorities.
Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
Ability to Multitask based on requirement at hand.
Philippine Nationals only
While the role is remote-based, the candidate must be living in the Philippines
Bilingual skills in English and Filipino are required
