Job Description
Minimum Skills Requirement
Qualifications:
Degree of honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a subject relevant to IT
Experience:
3+ years of specialised technical experience, within a business IT environment.
Experience in managing, configuration & monitoring of Firewalls: Palo Alto and Fortinet.
Experience in managing, configuration & monitoring of Email Gateway and Forward Proxies, IPS will be added advantage.
Experience in Implementation, managing, configuration & monitoring of client to site and site to site VPNs.
Experience in handling Technology Transition and working on documentation would be added advantage.
Knowledge/skills:
Effective communication skills
Principal Certifications in area of Firewalls like- Palo Alto, Fortinet
Proxy management certification.
ITIL Frame Work experience (ITIL v3/v4 Foundation or higher would be an added advantage)
Relevant professional experience in the following technologies: o Network Analysis Tools (e.g. Netwitness, Wireshark, etc.)
System Analysis, Forensic Tools and Endpoint Security
Windows Management (e.g. WSUS, SCCM, SCOM, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, etc.)
Routing, Switching and Data Center Design.
MAN/WAN/LAN Topology
Switching/Routing
MPLS/ATM/Frame Relay
Remote Access Technology, VPN, X28, etc
Desirable professional experience including working knowledge or high level awareness of the following technologies: o Voice/VOIP/Convergence of voice & data
Web Application Firewall is an added advantage
Forward Proxy (ZScaler) is an added advantage
Email Security (anti-spam)
