Provide technical direction, guidance and demonstrated expertise in the development and implementation of the Fire Detection and Alarm System designs. . Develop and implement effective fire detection designs for compliance with fire codes, standards, and regulations. . Apply working knowledge of National Fire Protection Association Codes, IBC, ISA, and IEEE regulatory requirements to site facilities. Basic Job Requirements Qualifications . Associates degree (or higher) in Fire Protection Engineering, Electronics or Electrical Engineering. A relevant BS degree may offset some required years of experience. . 10+ years of cumulative relevant experience. . Experience with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), IBC, ISA, and IEEE codes and standards. . 10+ years' experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation or Revit. Remote work requests will be evaluated based on positions, job function, and project requirements. However, if remote work is approved, periodic travel to home office will be required.
