Job Qualifications:
> Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or any related Field
> Must have outstanding skills in painting, finishing and airbrushing
> Passion for creativity and artistry
> Resourceful and Goal-oriented
> Excellent leadership and communication skills
> Computer Literate
> Minimum of six years of relevant painting and finishing experience in the manufacturing industry OR equivalent combination of experience and/or education in the manufacturing field from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
> Minimum of two years experience in Supervisory position
> Knowledge of supervisory principles, practices and techniques
> Advanced familiarity in different paint systems (PU, Thematic Finishes etc.)
> Proficient in using tools, equipment and materials common to the painting trade
> Excellent grasp in the preparation and application of paints to different types of surfaces
> Efficient in estimating time and material requirements of work projects assigned
> Skill in both verbal and written communication
Duties and Responsibilities:
> Responsible for supervising and performing finishing tasks such as taping, spraying and blending of colours to coat and paint a wide variety of items including glassware, ceramics, metal, paper or wood.
> Provide leadership, expertise and sense of creativity to our finishers/artists to ensure that all finished items achieve the artistic effects according to client specifications.
> Sees to it that the working area and finishing equipment are in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
> Coordinates with Project Management, Quality Control/Assurance and other Production personnel to improve finishing process
> Proactive approach in terms of resolving quality or other problems within the Finishing section.
> Provide Training, performance management and evaluation of co-workers.
