Position Overview
As a Financial Services Analyst, you will be responsible for the development of effective and efficient technical support, analytical reporting as well as process improvements within Financial Services. This position will provide system technical support, analysis and reporting on departmental/group financials, productivity metrics and other strategic projects. You will report to the Director of Financial Services.
What you'll do at Insight
Reports up to Adam Montero- collections mainly. Teams that handle billing, dispute, strictly collections. The ideal candidate will need technical dispute experience. They support the collectors that own the accounts in the portfolio. If anything is aged or there are escalations, this team comes in and helps to resolve them. They will jump in where there are gaps. Extremely old and disputed accounts.
Day in the life- File specific invoices they have to go in and reconcile. The requirement is that they touch everything. They have targets they have to hit, so 35% clearing target. They come in and see what's open and review the notes and activities. They jump in to help or keep working on it to retrieve. Prioritizing the larger and oldest balances.
Specific qualities of the ideal candidate:
2 years of experience in Accounts Reconciliation and collections experience. More of an internal candidate we would be looking for. Someone with SAP experience would be great.
What you'll need to join this Insight Team:
BS/BA preferred with a concentration in business, finance and/or analytics. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
2 years previous experience required and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced knowledge of SAP and experience with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc).
Ability to effectively communicate, present and articulate strategies across various audiences; finance, extended business groups, consultants, and senior leaders (internal and external).
Team of 5 - Be able to work independently and very good at problem-solving. Very organized, have a checklist.
