General Ledger (Local)
1. Oversee the performance of the following:
Monthly, quarterly & annual financial close
Consolidated financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports including supporting notes to the audited financial statements
Monthly intercompany reconciliation statements and resolve reconciling items with counterparts
Account analysis and journal entries preparation
Posting of journal adjustment requests from other Divisions/groups
Assistance with internal audit requests
2. Ensures standardization of processes related to General Ledger Accounting
3. Work closely with client, Finance and Operations team to ensure completeness and integrity of financial information
Consolidation
1. Oversee the performance and preparation of the following:
Monthly consolidation reports for Comptrollership
Quarterly statutory reports for SEC submission
2. Manage automation projects related to consolidated reporting
Client Management * Focuses on maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring that their business services are performing at a high-quality standard
Making sure that services are being seamlessly delivered to the clients of the organization
Develops problem management and service improvement plans
Coordinates SLA creation
People Management
Monitoring the service team's operational performance and tracking KPIs
Monitors service team's issues and client complaints
Coaching and mentoring within the team
Requirements
Education: Accountancy
Certified Public Accountant
Work Experience: At least 8-10 years of relevant work experience
Qualities:
Knowledge and experience in business, supervision, and management.
Knowledge of the functions, operation and mission of the specific department.
Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.
Management experience in a team-oriented workplace, preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and department staff members.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic economic, budgeting, and accounting principles and practices.
Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the organization's management team that provides leadership and direction.
