The Controllership Quality Assurance Analyst (CQA, Internal Position Title) will provide assistance to CQA FRGL (Financial Reporting and General Ledger) Manager specifically on financial reporting, GL management and related analysis.
Responsibilities:
Provides assistance to CQA FRGL Manager in the preparation of reports.
Generates reports in SAP as necessary.
Closely monitors the monthly closing of books, including JV requests that are due for posting on/before WD6 hard close.
Coordinates with SSC (Shared Service Center) in obtaining the complete financial reports, such as monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows, including the related variance analysis & schedules.
Prepares sanitized version of the monthly variance analysis for employee cost, taxes and licenses, forex, interest expense and income, in close coordination with SSC GL & SSC/CQA Treasury.
Attends monthly meetings/review of financial reports and be able to summarize open items and monitor resolutions.
Point of contact between SSC, external/internal auditors, FAMs and other CQA in terms of the following: (1) Timely submission of audit schedules (2) Monitoring of internal control compliance concerns and recommendations.
Reviews BS reconciliations, such as bank and intercompany balance reconciliations, and monitor timely disposition of reconciling items.
Supports CQA FRGL Manager in providing research, guidance & drafting of policies, technical memos and contracts originating from CQA FRGL.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
At least 2 years in closing the books and preparation analysis of financial reports both statutory and internal reports.
External audit experience and SAP is a plus
Proficient in PFRS, audited financial statements and income tax
External audit and SAP experience an advantage
Excellent MS Skills (particularly Excel and PPT)
Has analytical and problem-solving skills, out-of-the-box thinking, and with ability to establish relationships across all levels and regional offices.
Tact and good judgment in handling information
Keen to details and internal controls
Temporary hybrid setup (2x reporting in the office)
