Purpose of this Role:
Support the head of finance in the overall management of Financial Assets and liabilities of the Generali Phils Handles and directly ensure tax management.2. Support the head of finance in setting up the finance functions, processes, policies, and systems.
Job Description:
1. Finance Management
Coordinate with other areas in the company to deliver on the services required from Finance
Support Implementation process and systems improvements meant to either increase throughput or improve SLA in Finance
Ensure safeguards are in place to prevent fraud and other acts which would put the company at risk
Ensure setting up of Finance related guidelines and processes to ensure the company remains competitive and resources are maximized
Support regular housekeeping of Accounting books
Ensure timely and accurate filing of Financial regulatory reports for Tax
Efficient Tax Management
Conduct analysis of business performance periodically, highlight areas of concern and variances from planned targets to Head of Finance
2. Planning & Budget
Support Budget and Planning Management
Support Monitoring expenses beyond the budget
Support Monitoring of Budgeted Initiatives
3. People Management
Inspire, mentor, and motivate team members by leading the different teams, encouraging communication within the department, setting individual targets and measuring performance, enforcing training plans, supporting creativity and thought leadership, and growing/retaining top talents.
Build an effective relationship with the business units being supported.
