JOB DESCRIPTION
The key responsibilities include:
Providing reports and accurate analysis of the finance and accounting teams on a global basis.
Execute financial forecasting and budgets and overseeing the preparation of all periodic financial reporting and establishing financial goals for the Group to align with the Group's growth and expansion plans.
Advising on business and financial planning, ranging from deployment of cash resources, investments strategies and structuring of the balance sheet.
Providing strategic recommendations to the senior management and members of the executive management team on finance related matters.
Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Group to comply with the requirements of a listed company.
JOB QUALIFICATION
Pre-requisites:
A Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in the following:
Accounting Finance or Economics
An MBA or CPA is also highly desirable.
At least 6 years' experience in the related industry and in a publicly listed corporation with proven leadership and management experience is essential – with examples of when they have demonstrated excellence in the workplace.
Strong in Financial Planning and Analysis with proven track record. Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis Professional (FPAC) Certification will be an advantage.
The appointee must be effectively bi-lingual in English and Chinese and possess excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills with the executive presence to work with senior management, investors and external stakeholders. They must be able to engage with staff at all levels of the organization and be comfortable with technologies.
Knowledge and hands-on in Financial Planning and Analysis software/tools, Microsoft Dynamic Navision, and organizational skills.
Must be willing to travel overseas or stationed for period of time in one of the overseas subsidiaries.
