The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager performs budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of the business to support major corporate decisions.
Prepare quarterly forecast, annual budget, and long-range or five-year plan
Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis of all operational aspects of the business to evaluate progress towards reaching its goals
Provide critical financial insights through interpretation of financial results - including trends, risks, and opportunities to drive timely and actionable decisions
Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures and other related areas.
Prepare internal reports for executive leadership and support their decision making
Compare historical results against budgets and forecasts, and perform variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make improvements going forward
Review operations and recommend new productivity or cost saving initiatives
Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives
Recommend, implement and maintain general process improvements within the company
Be involve in other projects initiated by the department
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Business-related field with an emphasis in Finance and/or Accounting
10+ years' experience in finance, financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting and/or budgeting
CPA/MBA is a plus
Highly analytical, systems oriented and capability to make sound business decisions
Very well organized and methodical
Ability to communicate and demonstrate skills and methods accurately and clearly
Good report writing skills
Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
Able to simplify problems and provide rational and meaningful conclusion
Willing to work on-site most days
