Provide First Class Financial Operations
Xendit provides payments infrastructure across Southeast Asia. Xendit processes payments, runs marketplaces, disburses payroll and loans, detects fraud and helps other startups grow exponentially. We serve these services through world-class APIs and dashboard UI that simplifies payments.
Our main focus is to build the most advanced payment rails for Southeast Asia with a clear goal in mind - to make payments simple, secure and easy for everyone. We currently serve local SMEs to some of Indonesia's largest tech startups and also giant-sized businesses like Samsung. We process millions of transactions monthly, growing 8% month on month for the last 4 years. We are trusted and backed by some of the largest VCs in the world, who invested in Facebook, Slack, Twitch and Grab, and are alumni of the prestigious YCombinator (S15).
As Fin Ops Analyst you will be in the team that ensures success of the business. The Financial Operations team is all about providing the absolute best support to the daily operations of the business. This may be analyzing mountains of data to be used in reconciliations or business analysis, or float and cash flow analysis to ensure transactions are successful between customers or banks. No two days are the same, you will have your regular day-to-day tasks as well as your own projects to try and make the Fin Ops tasks as automated as possible, and provide Business Partner support to the various stakeholders.
Mission
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to improve the processes of Fin Ops, who is able to help drive business decisions from large and sometimes incomplete data. In addition, we want people who can speak with tech people, working together to make business solutions for the team.
Outcomes
1. Automation of Processes
Help drive the process in Fin Ops to become more automated, either in excel or bespoke tools working with tech
Be able to review the current process and make it more efficient
2. Business Analysis
Help with the creation of the business analysis metrics
Be able to construct dashboards from scratch
Have experience in excel analysis to assist with company strategy such as pricing
3. Finance Operations
Involved in float management, ensuring funds are correctly placed in banks to maintain operations
Knowledge of the banking system for smooth transactions, being an expert on our internal banking system
4. Transactions
Help lead the analysis of transactions from our own banking system and other sources
Able to spot trends in the flow of funds
Do recon's between internal data, bank data and 3rd party data to pass audit's
5. Financial Planning & Analysis
Opportunity to get involved in Finance, Accounting and FP&A; with Xendit expanding locally and internationally there will be opportunities to get involved in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and treasury to name a few things

You may be a good fit if
Have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Financial Analysis or Banking Ops
Have a degree related to Economics or Finance/Accounting
Is advanced in excel and data handling; able to analyze large amounts of data and being able to decipher as well as portray a message from the data
Have an interest in processes related to banking and/or finance and is keen to progress and make improvements
You thrive on the autonomy and have proven you can push towards a goal by yourself
You communicate well across teams
Bonus points if you have Financial Analysis experience from a bank or payment gateway and/or startup experience
