About The Role
Role Location: Solaris One Building, Makati
Role Type: Permanent

As a Financial Control Associate, you are responsible for the preparation of high complexity accounting and reporting tasks and to support the review function of the Financial Controller and Finance Manager in the provision of accurate and timely financial information to the BU Divisional Financial Control team, and ensuring that all statutory and regulatory reporting obligations (where serviced out of the Hubs) across the Business Unit are adequately met. You are expected to prepare journals (and journal workings) and balance sheet reconciliations (and supporting work papers) on a timely basis for all designated entities, ensuring a robust process is in place and adhered to. You will review balance sheet reconciliation and prepare regulatory reports (local and group) and assist Hubs and onshore financial controllers in overall completion of reporting requirements as per the local and group timetables.
You will contribute to the overall efficient operation of the Financial Control team to ensure maximum productivity and first time quality and develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders (relevant onshore Financial Control team, and Hub financial controllers). In addition, you have to build collaborative relationships with other finance and management functions in order to enable effective exchange of information required to support financial control activities.
About You
Graduate of Accounting, Finance and Commerce or equivalent degree
Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA with extensive experience in Finance roles
Experience in working with onshore and third party teams
Demonstrated an understanding of IFRS and PeopleSoft knowledge preferable
Advanced MS Excel skills or ability to write macros is an advantage
