JOB SUMMARY:
The Financial Controller is responsible for managing accounting records, ensuring regulatory and financial reporting, preparing financial statements and analyzing financial data, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes. Overseeing accounting operations and developing internal control policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Manages all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue
Prepares the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
Prepares and publish timely monthly financial statements
Research technical accounting issues for compliance
Support month-end and year-end close process
Ensures quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Monitors purchasing costs
Process Payroll
Manages and comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings
Develops and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Performs additional controller duties as necessary
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
Preferably a CPA
Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with creating financial statements
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
