Roles and Responsibilities include:
Prepares monthly route profitability reports and performs study of trends in the profitability of the Company's routes and aircraft types operated
Prepares monthly operating statistics summary/report
Prepares monthly management performance reports and supporting summaries used for Excom presentation
Participates in preparing quarterly & annual financial statements/reports for SEC/PSE submission (17A & 17Q)
Prepares various annual foreign branch financial statements and handles the audit of these reports as required
Prepares other financial reports as required internally by departments/management and external reports required by local and foreign entities (ex. quarterly surveys, branch operation reports, etc.)
Maintains procedures to produce standard reports and implements changes or enhancements as necessary
Conducts research on various financial reporting issues and proper accounting treatment of new transactions
Participates in process improvement and automation projects related to preparation of financial reports
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Must have at least four (4) years of related work experience.
Must have strong background in managing and preparation of financial statements.
Experience in reporting for publicly-listed companies and airline accounting is an advantage.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office tools such as MS Excel and MS Powerpoint.
Good business writing and presentation skills.
Good project management skills.
Note: This position will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
