JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Financial Analyst role will lead the financial analysis and reporting review of AR/AP/GL transactions for the client and will be responsible for day to day finance and accounting functions but not limited to
• Train with the client system and document procedures during transition
• Prepare monthly account analysis/reconciliations of all corporate general ledger accounts.
• Manage intercompany accounting and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare and Review bank reconciliations.
• Research month-end expense variances to budget and prior year.
• Ensure internal controls are observed.
• Assist in the preparation of compliance reporting such as U.S. government, etc.
• Prepare audit schedules to support the annual external audit.
• Facilitate audits required by third parties such as vendors, customers, taxing authorities, etc.
• Provide additional analysis and financial support to regional and corporate leadership as needed, for standard and ad hoc reporting requirements.
• Work with management to help resolve questions regarding financials
• Other adhoc requests as deemed by the Manager/Supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:
• Graduate of BS in Accountancy, CPA/CMA highly preferred
• With at least 3years of experience in Commercial Finance and Financial Analysis
• Knowledgeable in accounting software preferably, MS Teams, SAP, Quickbooks, NetSuite or Xero.
• Conversant in IFRS and US GAAP
• Good understanding of key Accounting and Compliance concepts
• High proficiency in Microsoft suite of products, in particular Excel, with ability to analyse data to make process improvements
• Good client management and interpersonal skills
• Well-developed organisational and time management skills including demonstrated ability to adhere to reporting deadlines (especially month-end reporting deadlines)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team Player and Collaborate well with others
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Willing to work US hours / fixed night shift schedule
• Currently on temporary WFH setup, but amenable to work in Alabang once work in the office resumes
