Job Responsibilities:
Prepares check payments to suppliers and other company payables
Accurately prepare and book monthly journal entries, including prepayments and accruals
Prepares daily Cash Position and monthly updated bank reconciliation
Diligently prepare selected balance sheet account reconciliations, obtain the necessary detailed transactions for the account and investigate and correct reconciling items
Manage the accounting for fixed assets, including but not limited to creating fixed assets in the sub ledger, calculating and applying depreciation, ensuring accuracy of the schedule and reconciling the fixed asset in progress account
Methodically review accounts payable trade entries to ensure accuracy of costing of product per shipment against payments made.
Prepare various supporting schedules for the monthly financial reports
Conduct periodic audit of inventory at the warehouse and ensure that figures are tally with the system
Performs all other tasks assigned by supervisor or department manager
Job Specifications and Qualifications:
Graduate Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Financial Management
Have a minimum of two (2) years' experience in Finance or Accounting
Ability to maintain computerized bookkeeping records; experience in using Quickbooks preferred
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Inherently demonstrate a high level of integrity and be trustworthy
Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Can work with minimum and less supervision
Works well with others, team player
