Position Overview:
As a Financial Analyst who reports directly to the CEO, you will play a
crucial role in influencing the financial strategy, conducting performance analysis, and contributing to decision-making processes within the gaming industry. This position provides a unique opportunity for close collaboration with senior leadership and actively contributing to the financial success of our gaming business.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement the planning and analysis vision for the group, including organizational structure, work quality and quantity, and team member training and development
Compile and meticulously prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring the accuracy of financial data
Provide analytical support for evaluating and monitoring the performance of each property, generating periodic analytical reports to support monthly Financial Statements and Executive Committee reviews
Maintain daily records of Gaming statistics for monthly and annual analysis
Create financial schedules that showcase department and company-wide performance for management presentations during monthly review meetings
Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional programs by comparing generated revenue to costs, aiding in marketing decision-making
Generate reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position, encompassing income, expenses, and earnings based on historical, current, and projected operations
Assist in the preparation of budgets
Investigate and rectify errors and inconsistencies in financial records, documents, and reports
Analyze processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
Maintain a consistently professional appearance
Foster positive relationships with the public and fellow team members
Fulfill other assigned duties as necessary
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (A Master's degree or certification such as CFA/CPA is considered advantageous)
A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, financial planning, or related roles, with a demonstrated history of achieving favorable outcomes
Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
Exceptional analytical capabilities, enabling the synthesis of intricate data into actionable recommendations
Advanced proficiency in financial software/tools and an adept command of Excel
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, adept at conveying financial information to non-financial stakeholders
Proven ability to operate independently, handle confidential data with discretion, and meet stringent deadlines
A strong enthusiasm for the gaming industry, coupled with a profound understanding of its intricacies is highly desirable
