Purpose of Role: The Financial Analyst position will be a key member of Corporate FP&A team and will be involved in the development of financial planning, reporting, and analysis related to current operations. The role will also support the organization's Treasury team and forecasting processes applying business acumen and analytics to support achievement of strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities: (What are the top 4 focus areas of the job, Safety First is required)
Assist in Treasury Functions: Assist with Cash Reporting (weekly and daily during month end close); Assist with monthly review of loan tracking file; Monthly load of FX rates into Oracle; Assist with execution of Treasury - related payments such as interest, loan issuance/repayment and transfer of funds; Action Banking portal maintenance requests for new users and entitlement updates (HSBC, B of A and Standard Bank); Prepare Bank Fee Analysis Reports; Assist with KYC updates; Prepare and submit Cash Breach Report;
Assist in Accounts Payable Areas: Perform Month End variance analysis of all Accounts Payable (Creditors) accounts; Work with Finance stakeholders around the world to forecast Accounts Payable balances; Carry out strategic initiatives with the Procurement team.
Support the administration: Updating and preparing monthly and quarterly reports used for monthly variance analysis and quarterly forecasting; Becoming proficient in ESCO's chart of accounts and actively managing the reporting of monthly expenses through Cognos; Actively identifying process improvement opportunities to drive incremental gains in corporate finance processes; Proactively improving and streamlining reporting processes while improving the quality of financial reports; and
Becoming an expert in our OneStream financial reporting tool: Implementing improvements to division and cost center budgeting processes, monthly reporting, and ad-hoc analytics

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer science, and/or Economics;
1 to 3 years of experience in financial planning, and analysis (FP&A), or similar function;
Advanced financial modeling skills to develop analysis for various business scenarios using Excel;
Prior experience in OneStream, Cognos, Oracle is a plus.
Willing to work in a hybrid set up ; Shift schedule is 4PM to 1AM
