JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst will provide in-depth and insightful budgeting, reporting and analytical support to the business operations with focus on financial planning and analysis of the budget, forecasts and monthly actual results. The individual will be looked upon as a key business partner to the team and be responsible for ad-hoc projects requiring analytical, presentation and leadership skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Partner various managers providing business support and guidance
Develop and present actual/forecast/budgeting for spending, headcount and capital investments
Involvement in supporting forecasting billings/revenue projections
Design monthly reporting packages using DOMO (business analytics system)
Create ROI analysis on investments
Support business reviews/presentations (board data, quarterly product reviews, budget presentations, etc.)
Be a key contributing member of the business staff meetings
Provide variance and trend analysis
Create ad-hoc reporting and analysis including supporting strategic initiatives.
Perform month end expense close process
Identify cost savings and incremental revenue opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
2 years of finance support experience
Experience in forecasting and budgeting tools; SAP, BPC and DOMO systems experience a plus
Experience in revenue analysis and business intelligence system a plus
Financial Modeling and strong analytical skills required
Ability to effectively multi-task projects with competing priorities; make decisions under pressure and work under tight deadlines
Self-starter with ability to anticipate issues and proactively provide creative solutions
Ability to work independently and within various teams
Ability to effectively mine data and draw relevant results on business performance, but more importantly be able to provide recommendations for improvement or business change
Advance Microsoft Excel skills required
