Work you'll do
Work with clients and their legal counsel to collect, preserve and analyze large and disparate data to support or refute the facts and allegations of commercial investigations, complex litigation, legal support, and forensic investigations.
Assist with the investigation and analysis of data using forensic methodologies and common tools which may include forensic analysis of laptop and desktop computer systems, servers, email servers, cloud repositories, and smart devices such as iPhones, iPads and Android devices.
Senior Associates will co-lead a team of associates in a managed service center environment which includes providing coaching, quality assurance reviews, time management, and ensuring constant delivery of high-quality outputs.
Investigate fraud, bribery and corruption, and accounting irregularities including money laundering, false reporting, financial misstatement, and suspect vendor relationships.
Conduct advanced forensic data analytics across key transactional data to identify suspect transactions or irregular patterns that may require investigation.
Conduct a fraud or bribery and corruption risk assessment.
Supporting projects from other Deloitte Forensic service lines, as and where required.
Supporting the innovation, development and documentation of new procedures and workflows in digital forensic analysis and eDiscovery methodologies.
Assisting in preparing documentation of work, working papers, schedules and reports that will be delivered to our clients and other parties.
Consult with and take direction from supervisors, engagement managers, and clients regarding case investigation and project status.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business or Accountancy
At least 2-3 years of professional experience in the field of financial auditing, consulting, and/or advisory services
Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner, (CFE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or other forensics accounting related certification, is an advantage
Sound technical understanding of Windows, Macintosh, and Linux operating systems, file systems and networks, email systems such as Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, and Microsoft Office applications, and computer forensic tools such as EnCase and Axiom.
Sound technical understanding of computer system hardware, storage devices, including hard drives, personal storage devices, cloud repositories, and other relevant IT systems
Previous experience providing financial crime consulting services to corporate, retail, and/or private banking business units of financial services institutions.
Candidates with engagement specific exposure to financial crime as part of external audit or internal controls work will also be considered.
Additional points if you have/can:
Experience or understanding of digital forensic or eDiscovery processes and methodologies
Experience with EnCase Forensic, Nuix and Relativity is a plus
Able to travel for overseas engagements on a short notice period
