Job Description
The position is responsible for ensuring compliance with preparation and submission of financial statements including tax payables, commission, brokers and related reports.
Checks, monitors and control accounts payable (Claims, Commissions, Operational expenses)
Review and ensure compliance with regulatory reports (BIR payments, IC reportorial requirements)
Preparation of reports and subsidiary schedule & reconciliation with recon items booked the following month
Handles other tasks such as financial reporting, approval and decision making in the absence of the Chief Finance Officer
Respond to queries and resolve issues/concerns relating to Financial Accounting
Approves , verifies, and handles cancellation of payment voucher in the absence of AVP
Maintain accurate records and handles other administrative tasks
Involved in FPG Budget planning, reporting based on the submitted reports of Marketing Department
Monitoring of financial analysts' tasks
Manage relationships/agreements with customers, internal and external
Respond to escalated queries/concerns from customers, internal and external
Communicate with customers, other parties on sensitive matters in a timely and effective manner
Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree holder. Preferably graduate of BS Accountancy.
Preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
With 2-3 years of experience in Financial Accounting
With 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory position
Preferably with experience in Banking and/or Insurance Industries.
Knowledgeable in MS Office suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to establish and nurture beneficial business relationships
Self-motivated with willingness to take initiative and solve complex problems
Possess dynamic personality and able to deal with all levels in the organization
Strong interpersonal skills
Proactive and has sense of urgency
