Job Description
Role Summary:
The Financial Accounting Manager is directly responsible for managing the preparation internal Management Reports, Budgeting, and Forecasting.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
Monitor the financial performance of the company
Prepare Management Report including Profit and Loss of business units
Supervise monthly and year-end closing
Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets
Provide leadership and support to accountants
Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
Monitor timely payments to service providers
Monitor and control cashflow
Analyze budget variances
Oversee the operations of finance and accounting department
Minimum Qualifications
Relevant educational qualifications, a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy
Must be a CPA
With at least 3 years of work experience in financial reporting
Experience in banking or investments industry, with working knowledge of the products (highly preferred)
In-depth knowledge of applicable Accounting Standards/PFRS
Efficient and thorough, detail-oriented; high problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in computer applications particularly Microsoft Excel
Flexibility and ability to adopt to changing work environment and requirements, work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Good communication skills (both written and verbal, specifically with presenting financial information)
Good interpersonal skills
Quick thinking, creative and innovative
Persistent - has follow through
High level of integrity
