Position Requirements:
Experience of intercompany or financial accounting in a blue chip multinational PLC environment.
Experience of building strong relationships with peers and Finance Leaders.
At least 4 years' experience in Finance and Accounting, Must have exposure to intercompany or fixed asset accounting
CPA preferred but not a must
Stable internet connection at home
Amenable to work in MidShift Schedule 4PM to1AM
Responsibilities:
Process and analyse operational activity, ensuring it is up to date and meeting the required SLAs. This includes all activities relating to intercompany, including, but not limited to group recharging, regional and/or other recharging, settlements, netting, intercompany balance mismatch investigation & resolution etc.
Ensure all accounting entries and reconciliations are completed for month end close, or other defined deadlines
Constant review of the accuracy of data being delivered, eliminating the risk of any financial impact which was unforeseen
Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations within the Tower are complete, accurate and any reconciling items are resolved & corrected on a timely basis (i.e. for all balance sheet GL accounts relating to Intercompany globally).
Do and prepare all balance sheet accounts and reconciliations as part of a monthly review
Provide full support to the stakeholders, including other Accounting Towers, Group HQ Finance, Tax, Treasury and the GSC Financial Reporting Team, ensuring deliveries are of the required quality & meet expectations
Identify process improvements, for approval by the Global Process Owner. Deliver agreed process efficiency/effectiveness improvements within the GSC finance function and contribute to improvement in other processes both within and beyond the GSC.
Ensure process documentation is complete and up to date.
Collaborate with other GSC teams, providing support to auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities
Ensure future migrations and acquisitions are integrated on a timely basis, ensuring processes are absorbed into the standardised model, with complete and accurate accounting from the start.
