About the Role:
Financial Accountant will play an important role and will be directly reporting to the Finace Head in Australia. The responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Key responsibilities:
Manage financial accounting functions including journals, month end expense accruals, reversal from prepayments
Balance sheet reconciliations for multiple entities ensuring that all reconciling items are being disposed-off properly
Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
Maintain Fixed Asset Register & Depreciation
Assist in preparation of timely and accurate monthly financial reports including balance sheet & P&L
Assist with annual budget, quarterly forecast and dashboard preparations
Liaise with BIR, PEZA, LGU and other govt. regulatory
Lodge monthly returns and reports with PEZA, BIR and LGU
Liaise with auditors and responsible for year-end audit
Advise on financial accounting standards/treatments and best practices
Perform other finance tasks as and when required
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance & Accounting, Commerce or equivalent.
2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
CPA qualification is beneficial and Advantage
Previous experience with PEZA preferred
Prior audit experience in big four firms will be preferred
Prior experience on Epicor or similar ERP system
Advance Excel skill is essential for this role
Excellent communication skill
Confident in dealing with employees at all levels
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Highly proactive and ability to work within tight deadline
Amenable to work in BGC, Taguig
Temporary Work from home set up is provided but can also work Onsite if needed
