POSITION: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Assist in preparation of Monthly Financial Statements and Annual Audits
· Review and Preparation of all Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual BIR reports
· Review of Monthly Statutory Reports
· Review of Bi-Monthly Payroll
· Review of Cash and Check Vouchers
· Review of Employees liquidation and Reimbursements
· Monitors Cash Flow
· Review Purchase orders, invoices, travels, etc.
· Assist in Annual Audit
· Provide ad hoc analysis and reconciliations
· Monitor specific cost initiatives to help ensure targets are met
· Assist in the Preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts, prepares meaningful reports comparing budgets and forecasts to actual results, performs sensitivity analysis on forecasts, actively participates in creating quarter end reporting, schedules and presentations and supports Functional management with other ad hoc financial projects
Assist in the analysis of financial data by comparing budget, actual and forecasted results and incorporate those findings into written commentary for Management.
· Assist in the preparation of quarterly reports, schedules, and presentations.
·Interacts with concerned departments to identify and implement changes based upon analysis of current systems, policies, procedures, and processes
·Responsible for billing and collection of payments from customers
·Responsible for computation and on time release of brokers' commissions
Job requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance, Business Management, Accounting or equivalent.
· Experience with preparation and analysis of financial reports
· Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
· Experience with BIR regulatory and taxation compliance filings
· Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
· Hands-on experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, or Xero would be a major plus
Required language(s): English, Filipino
· At least 5 year(s) of working experience
· Previous work with a real estate developer is preferred
· CPA preferred
Required proficiencies and traits:
· Strong communication skills in both English and Filipino
· Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
· Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
· Creative and innovative
· Highly organized
· Strong attention to detail
· With strong analytical and research skills
· A self-starter and team player
· Remains calm under pressure
· Ability multi-task and prioritize
