The Opportunity
Our client is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest food manufacturers employing around 6,000 people across 60 sites. Their product range is diverse and includes leading brands of breads, baked goods, smallgoods, flour, milled products and animal feed. They are looking for Financial Accountant to support the division with their financial accounting and reporting requirements, and provide wider support with ad-hoc analysis and projects for the Financial Controller and Reporting Manager. This role will also be the face of P2P process, assisting with all aspects including PO management.
Key responsibilities:
Accounting: (Monthly, Weekly)
Coordinate the month-end close process
Technical lead and champion for IFRS 16 accounting standard including month-end journals and reconciliation
Monthly mobile phone audit
Monthly Head Count report
SGA review and reporting
Issue POs and goods receipts
Ensure Goods Receipt Invoice Receipt (GRIR) report's integrity (with small balance <200) including Overseas Vendors
Non PO workflow
Analysis of AFPO
Ad-Hoc
Complete FBT Simplifier
Co-ordination of annual insurance information
Assist in co-ordinating the Internal/External Audit
Completing ABS Survey, quarterly
