The client is a multi-functional shared service centre that handles the company-wide transactions across various world regions.
Dimensions: The Financial Accountant is one of the team members who reports to a Financial Controller.

Substituting Team Leader
Purpose of the Role:
To ensure that the Business Unit (BU) financial and reporting processes are completed accurately and on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are strictly adhered to
Provide first line support to the Team Leader on daily tasks, specific issues and projects
Top Accountabilities:
Carry out timely, accurate and compliant Period End reporting process in BFC and SAP for relevant markets/entities for Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss statement, Cash Flow, Intercompany.
Prepare and post accruals/adjustments/other required journals to ensure the month-end results show the clear and fair picture
Make sure Balance Sheet GL reconciliations are completed and reflected the changes in the business
Complete OH, A&P reports (analyse plan vs actual to support the decision making
Complete/provide T&E analysis to leadership team
Making sure the day-to-day tasks are executed according to the client policies and controls, being able to highlight the possible risks to the line manager
Support audit work by providing timely and accurate data/report
Provides first line support to the Team Leader on specific issues/projects and acts as a deputy of the Team Leader.
Proactively suggests improvements/additional control points to build in and takes an active part in the implementation and in the follow up.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
University or College degree in Finance and Accounting/CPA (Open for FRESH GRADUATE).
At least 5 years working experience in a multinational corporate environment, with exposure to some of the following areas:
Financial Accounting / Reporting, and/or Financial Controlling experience is strongly preferred
Internal / external audit experience and/or SOX is an advantage
Experience with Shared services process activities is an advantage
Results orientated and capable of working in a deadline driven environment.
Has customer focus to be able to build excellent relationships with relevant internal and external customers
General knowledge and experience with SAP
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Hard working personality, flexibility, inquisitiveness, proactivity
Good business English, able to communicate effectively
Experience in working with integrated software system is an advantage.
Audit experience is an advantage.
International (part) qualification (IAS/UK/US GAAP) is an advantage.
Can customize reports in Excel and clear with standard features/functions
Being able to prepare presentation in Power Point
Barriers to Success in the Role:

Work Duration: 6 months contact
WFH, but willing to report on BGC, Taguig City on timely basis
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday (9am-6pm Shift)
