Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares and submits timely Financial Statements (monthly, Qtr & annual) and other relevant accounting and tax reports incl supplementals in compliance with the legal entity reporting requirements ( PFRS, 17Q , BIR, Corporate, Regional , Sec, License etc)
Communicates financial outcomes and analysis to management and stakeholders.
Performs accounts analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet, Cash flow, GL and SL accounts and ensures that journal entries and period adjustments are timely and accurately recorded.
Performs regular audit of transactions relating to P&L and Balance Sheet accounts and ensures that proper recording is done in accordance with the regulatory and tax requirements.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing & recommending policies & procedures.
Liaises with internal and external auditors, BIR and other regulatory agencies including regional offices for reporting, consolidation and documentation purposes.
Ensures compliance to company policies and procedures and drives process improvement actions including accounting systems review ie SAP & Oracle, to maintain and strengthen risk management and internal controls.
Performs review of chart of accounts, cost center and regional reporting, revenue recognition, project cost analysis and drives cost savings.
Handles monitoring of payables, insurance, third party contracts, project related accounts, operating expense monitoring vs budgets and accruals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Highly collaborative, process oriented and results driven individual.
CPA
At least 2 years' experience on Audit, General Accounting, Financial & Regulatory /Tax reporting
Knowledgeable in SAP S4 Hana
Preferably with project cost accounting experience
