What will you do?
Ledger Reconciliation: Ensure financial completeness, maintain & reconcile balance sheet files, analyze profit & loss variance to budget/forecast, and back up all with supporting documents.
Cashflow Forecast: Provide an accurate cashflow forecast, maintain trade creditor terms, monitor debtor terms, and follow up on outstanding debts for timely payments.
Fixed Asset Register: Ensure the Fixed Asset Register's accuracy, verify asset details, apply appropriate depreciation rates, classify assets correctly, run monthly depreciation, and record journals in financial ledgers.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements, guide the assistant accountant on matching sales team payments, ensuring item reconciliation, analyzing and investigating variances, and monitoring aged/unreconciled items for proper treatment.
Account Payable Function: Ensure accurate and timely payments, manage the entire purchase-to-pay process by verifying invoice approvals, matching to purchase orders, maintaining supplier records, entering invoices, reviewing payments, assisting with queries, and monitoring outstanding balances.
Account Receivable Function: Facilitate efficient customer payment collection, act as a liaison with the sales team by addressing outstanding accounts, educating them on company policies, supporting their collection efforts, helping with banking queries, and monitoring aging customer debts.
Financial Forecast: Contribute to accurate financial planning, assist with sales trend, CODB, gross margin analysis, and monitor, review, and drive cost-saving initiatives for the monthly financial forecast.
General/ Ad Hoc duty: Assisting Ad hoc reporting requirements and general administration function.
