We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Finance Manager - Taxation.
Principal Responsibilities:
Manages and monitors all tax and incentive related requirements, issues and concerns of HDPP including any tax discussions with government regulatory agencies.
Timely submission of all statutory reports and requirements as well as managing professional relationship with the government agencies such as BIR, PEZA, BOI, SEC, LGUs and other government agencies
Timely and value-add communication with HDPP Senior Management as necessary
Shares knowledge with HDPP Finance Team and customers and keeping them appraised of the relevant tax issues, concerns impacting HDPP and the Philippines (iv) on a day-to-day basis, assist and guide the HDPP Head of Finance and the Finance team by providing tax advice and performing any related Finance function as required/directed by the Head of Finance
Reviews HDPP operational and functional areas for all tax compliance including any outsourced processes and (vi) keeping HDPP personnel appraised of tax changes and its impact to HDPP business.
He/ She is expected to be capable of navigating independently the Oracle/Fusion accounting system to obtain data and information needed to perform his/her role.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant field.
Certified Public Accountant with a minimum of 5 years significant working experience in handling Tax responsibilities, specifically, BIR, PEZA, BOI, SEC and Local government regulations.
Strong knowledge and experience in handling BIR Tax examinations
Robust knowledge on PEZA incentives programs and requirements
Proficient is Excel, Word and similar applications
Knowledge in using Oracle/Fusion accounting system
Ability to communicate effectively with peers and key non-Finance customers within the organization
Proactive, anticipates requirements, forward looking
Deadline oriented with a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
