Job Overview
The Finance & Tax Lead is an individual contributor role, will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, tax compliance, and accounting functions with a focus on shared services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, taxation, and accounting, with demonstrated experience in shared services environments.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day finance operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including the timely filing of tax returns and the implementation of tax planning strategies.
Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors to support tax audits and assessments.
Oversee general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Provide guidance and support to finance team members, including training and development opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive process improvements.
Work closely with regional teams to ensure alignment of financial and tax strategies.
Manage all transfer pricing matters, including documentation, compliance, and reporting.
Assist with tax planning initiatives to optimize the company's tax position and minimize tax liabilities.
Qualifications:
CPA certification is required.
With at least 5 years of experience in finance and taxation.
At least 1 year of experience in audit is preferred.
Experience working in shared services environments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
