JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of Finance Manager, plan, organize, assign, supervise and review work of assigned staff; train staff in work procedures; conduct performance evaluations; participate in maintaining and monitoring work plans to achieve department goals.
Supervise activities of the assigned accounting functions, including accounts payables and purchasing.
Maintains cash flow by monitoring bank balances and cash requirements.
Verify amounts against invoices and authorize checks and wire transfers to approve cash disbursements.
Reviews department request and reports and submit them to the finance manager with recommendations.
Respond to inquiries from other departments, and investigate complaints and sensitive/confrontational issues.
Keep sensitive information confidential and follow internal measures for financial security.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Review/Check all tax returns prepared by an external bookkeeper for final submission to BIR.
Preparation/Computation of withholding tax due on compensation for local employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of BS Accountancy or Finance.
At least with 2- years of relevant experience as Finance/Accounting Supervisor.
Certified Public Accountant is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office, hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
Proficient in the use of Office Productivity Tools like email, internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and business presentations.
Applied Understanding of basic Accounting functions, analysis approaches, tools, and techniques.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Php40,000.00 per month
Schedule:
10 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
13th month salary
