Job description
Responsible in keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. Also, run accounting software programs to process business transactions particularly in accounts payable. Employee in this position will have to ensure that the company's daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.
DUTIES:
1. Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
2. Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
3. Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
4. Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
5. Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
6. Assist the business to manage and track financial assets and everyday expenditures.
7. Validation of accounts (Accounts Payable).
8. Encoding of accounts on Quickbooks system.
9. Perform other tasks that may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Graduate of any 4-year business course. (BS Accountancy is a plus).
2. Must have accounting experience gained from internship or previous employment.
3. Ability to analyze figures and knowledge of accounting principles.
4. Able to multi-task, establish priorities and organize efficiently.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
7. Willing to be assigned/trained on sites (Bacolod, Davao, Leyte)
