Processing, analyzing and reporting of financial transactions and information. Assisting with budgeting processes and preparing various management reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Primary Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of team's business plan in order to maximize productivity and performance
Ensure all processes conducted are documented in a standard format and maintained in an accessible fashion
Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve systems and procedures
Comply on provided legislations, industry codes, company policies and procedures
Establish and maintain an efficient, effective relationship between Regional Finance and GSSC Finance staff, with a particular emphasis on maintaining clean reconciliations of accounts
Ensure consistency between the result and general ledger
Ensure effective suite of reports provided to business enabling management to monitor business profitability
Provide technical expertise and mentoring to Finance Services Analyst and Specialist
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Required Experience
2 years relevant experience
Required Licenses/Certifications
Certified Public Accountant
Preferred Competencies/Skills
Strong skills in spreadsheets, data analysis and reconciliation procedures
Problem solving skills
Strong Communication Skills
Preferred Knowledge
Fundamental knowledge of organizational accounting procedures
Thorough understanding of best practice accounting
