Requirements:
• Bachelor's/College degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Management Accounting and related field.
• At least 4 years total accounting experience.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance including payroll tax reporting, PEZA, BIR and others.
• Able to interpret and analyze data across multiple systems and data sources.
• Must have experience in using Quickbooks Online, knowledge using payroll systems is an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of Google apps (sheets, docs and slides) and Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to work with deadlines and less supervision.
• Solid understanding of internal controls and monthly reconciliation requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to details.
• US based Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or IFRS experience a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
• Support the monthly closing processes and ; the preparation of the monthly financial statements. and other management reports.
Reconciles key balance sheet accounts and analyzes P&L variances.
Researches and reports any discrepancies and proposes any necessary correcting entries
Verify and audit documentation on disbursement requests.
• Periodically audits accounting policies and written procedures for compliance and or improvements.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Act as reliever in the absence of any team member.
