BASIC FUNCTION
The role of Financial Planning & Analysis takes in charge of the activities associated with Australia project accounting and analysis reporting needs of Emerson Climate Asia. This position completes Australia project accounting requirements with closing cycle and liaises with the Asia Corporate Staff in HK to support and facilitate the reporting and analysis of financial projections. The position reports to ComRes Asia Finance Director.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for Australia Solutions' Presidents Operating Report (POR) submission. Processes required analysis including but not limited for POR and FinRev.
• Responsible for tracking and measuring Asia price-mix analysis.
• Responsible for Australia project accounting, including creates/closes projects and places project PO to vendor in Oracle, reconciles project AP invoices with vendors, confirm project status and margin with Australia project manager, project model monthly closing etc.
• Maintains pricelist for Australia, assists business leader in Australia Solutions' project quotation.
• Track sales forecast movement with business leader and release weekly sales report for Australia Solutions.
• Day to day analysis and review of ad-hoc inquires.
• Perform additional projects as assigned.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:
• The successful candidate must demonstrate solid accounting and financial analysis ability, be detail-oriented, work effectively in a team environment.
• This position requires the ability to work independently, hands-on ability to deliver work at schedules.
• English fluency is a must.
• Strong business system knowledge including Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must.
• Working knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) applications would be advantage.
• IT Skills in Power Query, SQL or Phython would be a plus.
EDUCATON
Position requires a B.S. or B.A. degree in Accounting and 3-5 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
