Finance Operations Manager
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with other team members of other departments to promote seamless service and problem resolution to customers.
Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company
Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the organization by providing leadership in:
All financial matters, including budget development, planning & reporting; managing the accounts, payroll and financial reporting of project funded activities
All operational matters, including managing HR requirements and overseeing activities to ensure safe and cost-effective management
•To work as part of the Manila Management Team to contribute financial and operational expertise in the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, practices, funding proposals and applications
To work closely with the Stakeholder Management Team to provide financial and operational monitoring and controls on all programs of work and activities, including producing reports and overseeing analysis of data and budget administration
Provide direction and leadership to the Financial Services Departments
Proactively develop team members to support a continuous improvement organization, increase moral, establish a sense of accountability and value.
Actively manage performance issues to ensure sound delivery of commitments to the business and our partners
Actively engage in routine processes where needed to deliver support or design more efficient outcomes
Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with all key stakeholders
Establish SMART goals for team members to ensure results are delivered timely and accurately
Qualifications
B.S. in Accounting, Finance or similar field required.
Master's degree preferred
Must be a CPA
15 years of progressive finance leadership, including previous oversight of shared services functions and have handled multi- national accounts
Have managed more than 100 individuals
Skilled in change management
Proven experience in Financial Management Business Planning, Forecasting, Budgeting and Analytics
Experience with treasury related activities/cash management
Strong understanding of credit policies and credit risk management
Strong knowledge and understanding of accounts payable processes and cycle
Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
