FINANCE OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE
 
Job Description:
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly sales reconciliation for all e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopee, Lazada, Tiktok, Shopify)
Monitor and validate platform payouts, ensuring accuracy against recorded sales
Track and account for:
Platform commissions and transaction fees
Seller and platform-funded vouchers and promotions
Returns, refunds, cancellations and chargebacks
Shipping fees, subsidies and penalties
Investigate and resolve sales vs. payout discrepancies in coordination with operations and customer support teams
Data analysis and process improvement
Work closely with operations and finance team
Provide finance-related insights to support inventory planning, pricing, and campaign decisions
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or Business Administration
Prior experience in e-commerce, retail or marketplace operations is highly preferred, but not required
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
Ability to work with high-volume transaction data and raw CSV/Excel files from marketplaces
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong sense of ownership and accountability
Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
