Resolve and process tickets for payment requests.
Record the daily sales and disbursements in Quickbooks, including the proper filing of vouchers and uploads related supporting documents
Ensure month-end closing processes are completed as per agreed timeline, such as bank reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation and settlement, budget and financial statement updates, and preparation of reports for the ManCom and Board
Monitor cash balances, cash flow and projections
Compute the commissions for the Admissions and Communications Department
Check and book the payroll forwarded by HR
Administer and implement policies and processes with regards to all fixed assets, furniture and other inventory related items, including updates to the assets lapsing schedule
Liaise with external auditors on all requests relative to the completion of the annual financial statement audit
Graduate of BS Accountancy, Finance, Business or other related courses
Certified Public Accountants (CPA) are preferred but not required for this role
At least 2 - 3 years of experience in the different facets of Accounting and Finance such as but not limited to payables, receivables, disbursements, collections and financial analysis
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Excellent command of the English Language (both written and verbal)
Familiarity with the use of various Accounting Software is an advantage
Ability to work around new tools and processes is an advantage
Amenable to work on Saturdays
Entry Level / Junior, Apprentice Accounting and Finance Education and Training 1 opening Bachelor's degree graduate
