We're looking for potential candidate who are willing to be part of our growing team. We have an opening for Accounts Payable Officer (1) and General Accounting Officer (1)
I. Accounts Payable Officer
Monitoring and Supervision
Ensures that AP Staff will comply with the payment terms of supplier to avail early payment discounts, on time payment, avoid penalties, disconnection of utilities and holding of deliveries.
Ensures that AP staff will comply with the cut-off required by Treasury in the preparation of checks to avoid late payment
Ensures that all types of invoices, request for payment and legal agreements will adhere to the company's policies and procedures
Analyze and approve payment requests to ensure validity of expenses and accuracy of General Ledger Accounts being charged
Ensures that AP Team will comply with the monthly FS Calendar set by the Accounting Manager.
Supervises the timely reconciliation of vendor aging statements to minimize past due payables
Reconcile and maintain the Liability Accounts- GRIR, Accounts Payable and Advances to Suppliers Aging Reports
Submission of Monthly AP Balance Sheet Analysis
Submission of Monthly RPT (Related Party Transactions
Strategic Planning
Participating in system change related activities such as requirement gathering, solution validation, acceptance testing and user support
Regularly communicates to internal and external customers, proposals to management for process improvement solution
Participation/compliance with the internal and external audit requirements.
I. General Accounting Officer
Lead Accounting/Financial Closing for Singapore and CO stores except Sales/COGS which will be handled by the Store Supervisor
Creation of timely P&L reports/dashboards - as aligned with Manager.
Lead Balance Sheet Cleanup and Review pre and post in-house transition of SG Books
Lead Bank Reconciliation and Creation of Cash Forecast for SG and CO stores Study and handle International (Quarterly) Tax Filings for SG and CO stores Lead any future special projects with Manager.
Qualifications:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
CPA is a plus but not required.
At least 3 years of accounting experience; with significant experience with AP (Accounts Payable) and General Accounting
Must be competent in interpreting financial data and make recommendations based on findings.
3-year related accounting experience - especially on Balance Sheet Review and Bank Reconciliation (For General Accounting Post)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Willing to render overtime if neeeded
Applicants must be willing to work in Paranaque City and Mandaluyong City.
